Volunteer Crew Info
We want to work with you, not just for you. That’s why, when you plan your production with us, you may choose to provide volunteer operators for certain positions and lower your production costs.
Being part of a video production or broadcast team is genuinely enjoyable! Working with top-notch equipment and skilled operators to craft a professional production is incredibly rewarding. Plus, there's the added perk of wearing a headset that exudes an unmistakable air of importance!
Camera Operator
We've configured our cameras to be user-friendly, ensuring a frustration-free experience for volunteer operators. Featuring zoom controls conveniently located on the handles and a large screen for a clear view of your shot, you'll feel comfortable in no time. As the Camera Operator, your role involves listening to headset instructions and promptly responding to the Technical Director (TD). These instructions guide you in pointing the camera and framing your shots. Having a background in still photography, if not videography, is a huge plus.
Audio Engineer
If the audio requirements are straightforward, you may have the opportunity to volunteer as the Audio Engineer. In this role, your responsibility would be to maintain consistent microphone levels and manage mute/unmute functions as needed. However, in cases involving live music, media playback, or multiple mixes, the role can become considerably complex, demanding a thorough understanding of intricate equipment.
Teleprompter Operator
If we use a teleprompter, we need someone to operate it. You’ll be scrolling the script (in software) at the speed of the reader so that they don’t have to look away from the lens of the camera to read.
